Paula Solomon received her Ph.D. from Pacific Graduate School in Palo Alto, Ca. Before pursuing her childhood passion for psychology she worked as a camp counselor, lifeguard, swim instructor, telephone system operator, market researcher, cafeteria monitor, juggler, house parent, and recreational therapist. She has worked with emotionally disturbed adolescents for over 35 years. She was the Clinical Director of a Residential Treatment Center for disturbed and abused teens for the past 25 years. She also taught Psychological Assessment to psychology Doctoral Candidates at the Institute of Imaginal Studies for ten years and was a long-term consultant to Multiplicity Therapeutic Services, an agency that provides behavioral services to regional center clients. While specializing in teens, Dr. Solomon has also worked with school aged children chronically mentally ill adults, and acute care adult psychiatric clients.
